The ISIS Lodge

The ISIS Lodge have helped us in the past and recently send a further £250 to help us in our work. Thank you to all at the Isis Lodge, your support is much appreciated.

The Manor Country House Hotel, Weston-On-The-Green

The Manor Country House Hotel recently contacted us to see if they could help us in any way. This was particularly welcome because the Hotel we used for many of our functions, the Oxfordshire Inn, had recently closed. The Secretary has met with the management at the Hotel and we look forward to working with them….

ROSY Committee Member Mrs Dilys Alban-Moore

Whilst typing the above report I was reminded of the fantastic work of the ROSY committee behind the scenes, much of which goes unnoticed. One of those members is Dilys Alban-Moore who is our very able Funds Research Officer and spends her time searching for Trusts or Organisations who may be able to help us….

The Fineman Charitable Trust

A plea for help sent to the above Charitable Trust resulted in the following message being received: “We were impressed with your application and enclose herewith a donation  for your work.” We received £1,000. Thank you all at the Trust for your generosity.

The Sandra Charitable Trust

Our Secretary was recently introduced to a gentlemen who it had been suggested could help us. Following e-mail correspondence we were presented with a cheque for £2,500 drawn on the Sandra Charitable Trust. I will not name the gentleman but we are enormously grateful for his help in securing this donation.

European Instruments

European Instruments is a local company operating in Old Road, Headington. Fyfield PCC Donation

Fyield PCC have helped us over many years, donating monies raised form  the annual Christmas Carol signing around the Villages. This year was no exception and we have received a further£200 as a result of their efforts. Thank you all so very much, we are honoured that we are deemed worth of your continuing support.

Local Golfers help ROSY

Mr Bob Heaton represents a group of golfers who play on Saturday afternoons in a roll up competition. They are supported by a group calling themselves the Leeches who play in the week.
