We are continuing to support our community as much as possible during what is an enormously challenging time for everyone, particularly those with disabilities and extra health considerations. How we offer support has required adaptation; we are offering assistance with anything that our families require during self-isolation such as collecting prescriptions, medical supplies, shopping and telephone support. We are also working with our Play Specialist to organise virtual play sessions and play packs to be sent to the children.

Unfortunately face to face contact is not possible for 95% of our usual families, as a result we are offering additional sessions to those families where possible and we are also currently accepting children that are not on the Community Children’s Nursing caseload during the COVID period. We have received some referrals already from various social supports and we are in discussion with Social Services as to who to prioritise and contact.

On a positive note, we are pleased to announce that we have three new Health Care Assistants joining the ROSY team, we look forward to introducing them to you shortly.

Covid – 19 has had a significant impact for everyone, we hope that you are managing, staying well and looking forward to a time when we can reconnect in person as much as we are. In the meantime we would like to thank everyone for your continued support and generosity.

Please feel free to contact us through the website or via phone. We are still here to help.
