THANKS TO THE TINGWICK SOCIETY

The Tingwick Society is made up of a group of students in Oxford University who do fund raising throughout the year in support of good causes chosen by them. In 2009/2010 ROSY was fortunate enough to be chosen as their local charity.

The students did an amazing range of events and raised a total of £22,000 for their chosen charities. One event that stuck in our minds was that one student did seven marathons in seven days!!

Some of the students came to our garden party in July and our families were able to say a personal thank you for their support. They have donated the magnificent some of £6,545.79p to ROSY.

To Adam Al-Diwani and all his colleagues a big thank you from all of us. It is inspiring to know that young people who are studying for their futures can give of their time to support those less fortunate than themselves. Wherever your careers take you in the future we wish you every success.
